Jan. 3rd, 2017 10:24 pmShit, I bought flooring. This means I have to actually get going on this new project I've been putting off since I ripped out the stinky bedroom carpet and painted the walls. WHY DO I DO THIS TO MYSELF. But look how awesome it loooooks I hope it looks as good in person.
Also gearing up to take carpet off of the stairs and second floor hallway. Turtle has reduced much of it to rags, plus it would be nice to be able to let the dogs up there without having to worry about them shitting on the stairs. Certain doggos seem to think carpet is grass or some shit (I'M LOOKING AT YOU, BONES). Was hoping to use the leftovers of the wood flooring for treads and put talavera across the risers. While we've happily lived her for five years now, this is kind of the first thing I've thought of that would look "us" in the middle of this overly nice, neutral-toned, stone-and-wood-not-linoleum-and-particle-board house we moved into. haha
Give me time, it will change.
